WWII Veteran, Lieutenant in the Canadian Merchant Navy.
Peacefully at Bay Ridges Long Term Care on Sunday, November 16, 2014 with his family by his side. Bruce Williams in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Norma (nee Brumwell). Loving father of James and his wife Darlene, and John Colin. Cherished Papa of Heather (Anthony Roppa), Christopher, Michael, Brenda, Bryan and Jimmy. Great Grandfather of Sophia and Julia. Dear brother of Shirley (Robert McGregor). He will be sadly missed by his cousins, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Bay Ridges Long Term Care for their care and kindness. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488 on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
