Peacefully at Orchard Villa Long-Term Care on February 4, 2016, re-united in heaven with his beloved wife of 59 years, Marie (2014). Cherished father of Celia (Gus), Martin (Jacqueline), Raymond (Tracy) and Karen (Kevin) Much-loved Papa of Meredith, Steven, Alexander, Keara, and Olivia. Pre-deceased by grandson Sean (2015). Dad met his first precious great-granddaughter, Jamieson, on Christmas Day. Dad was a devout and faithful Catholic, an original parishioner at St. Rose of Lima parish in Scarborough. A proud Scotsman, who enjoyed a wee dram, he will be missed by his family in the UK. The family will receive friends at The McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Road, Pickering Village (Ajax) 905-428-8488 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 10th. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Isaac Joques Roman Catholic Church, 1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering on Thursday, February 11th, at 10:30 a.m. Our sincere thanks to Dr.Maslowski and the wonderful staff on the Pine unit at Orchard Villa, for their kind and compassionate care.
