<div itemprop="description">QUINN, Margaret &quot;Peggy&quot; <br />It is with heavy hearts, the Family of Margaret &quot;Peggy&quot; Quinn announces her passing. She passed away peacefully during her sleep on the evening of Friday, June 7, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ron, her three sons, Alan and his wife Joanne, Jeffrey, and Russell and his wife Tanya, and her three loving grandchildren, Mathew, Jennifer, and Brian. She was born in Liverpool, England, and after her marriage to Ron, she emigrated to Canada with her dear friend Melsie to join their husbands post-war in 1952. She was a mother to her children and housewife until her children were off to high school when she then began work at Scarborough General Hospital in Medical Records. After her retirement in 1992, she enjoyed life as a tap dancer with the Scarborough Show Stoppers until 2007. Peggy loved to dance and was an avid fan of baseball and hockey. Peggy was loved by all. She will be missed. Visitation will be held at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 905-428-8488 on Sunday, June 16, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. &amp; 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the funeral home. Donations in her memory can be made to The Blue Jays Care Foundation. <br /></div>
