Passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved husband of the late Ruby (nee Brown). Loving father of Karen and her husband Morris Wojdylo, Marlene (Tom Coulby), Randy and his wife Carole, Robert, and Kevin and his wife Kathryn. Grandfather of 13 grandchildren; Aleshia, Corey, Jason, Michael, Andrew, Trevor, Drew, Nicole, David, Tyler, Courtney, Kasandra, and Byron. Great-grandfather of 8. Predeceased by his 7 siblings. Howard will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family. Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax, 905-428-8488, on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Pickering Village United Church, 300 Church St. N., Ajax, on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Erskine Cemetery. If so desired, donations to the Poppy Fund or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
